30 days on a perpetual licence, 14 on a subscription
If Sinextasis is not right for you, write to us and we will refund you in full. You do not have to justify the request.
| you bought | you have |
|---|---|
| a perpetual licence | 30 days from purchase |
| a subscription — monthly, 3-month, 6-month | 14 days from your first payment |
Why they differ. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and the next payment simply does not happen, so a long refund window adds little. A perpetual licence is one larger decision made once, so it gets the longer one. Fourteen days is also the withdrawal period consumer law gives you in the EU and the UK — we apply it to everyone, wherever you are.
Try it before you buy it
You should not have to spend money to find out whether software works on your machine.
Sinextasis is free, forever, for non-commercial use, and the free tier is fully featured. Every generator, every effect, the node graph, the AI shader tools, the audio-reactive engine — all of it runs without paying. A paid licence removes the free tier's limits (720p output cap, watermark, one display at a time, the professional export formats) and permits commercial use. It does not unlock hidden features, because there are none.
So the honest advice is: install it, run a real set with it, and buy a licence only once you know it works on your hardware. The refund below is there for the cases that survive that.
How to request a refund
Write to hello@sinextasis.com with the email address you used to buy, or the licence key itself.
Your purchase was processed by Paddle.com, who are the seller of record for the transaction. That means refunds are issued by Paddle, and you can also request one directly through the receipt they emailed you — usually the fastest route. Either way the money returns to the payment method you used, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
What happens to your licence
When a refund is issued, the licence is deactivated. Sinextasis does not stop working and does not uninstall itself: it returns to the free tier, and it keeps opening every project, shader and recording you made with it. Your work is yours and stays that way — see section 6 of the End User Licence Agreement.
Subscriptions
Monthly, 3-month and 6-month licences can be cancelled at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut the term you already paid for. Sinextasis keeps working until that term ends, plus a 30-day grace period, and then returns to the free tier.
The 14-day window above applies to your first payment on a subscription. Later renewals are not covered by it — but see Renewals below, because a charge you did not mean to make is a different thing from changing your mind.
Renewals
We email before a subscription renews. If a renewal charge surprised you, write to us — we would rather refund it than keep money someone did not mean to spend.
After the window
Beyond the window we will still refund a licence if Sinextasis does not work for you and we cannot fix it. That is a promise about the software, not about changing your mind, and it is judged in good faith.
Your legal rights
Nothing on this page removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived. If the law where you live grants you a longer cancellation period or a stronger remedy, that law applies and this policy does not shorten it.
